Until the 15 of februari 2010 the starting fee will be payed back exeped for 1000 kr if entry is canceld. After the 15 februari a certificate from a veterinary for the whole team or a certificate from a doctor is needed for the starting fee to be refunded, though minus 1000 kr. The certificate needs too be the race marshalls at hand 14 days before the last day of the race. The certificate must be in original.
At checkpoint there will be a fireplace where mushers, handlers and family can spend time together.
For dogs older than 10 years a certificate of helth is required. The certificate of helth can not be older than 1 month.
For 160 km the time levelling is in Lofsdalen. All mushers stops for 20 min + levelling time. In this way all mushers have equal time to take care of their dogs.
If damaged or broken sled/ski/ski pole the musher is allowed to change the unusful equipment at checkpoint. The change take place in assigned area chosen by the person in charge at the checkpoint.
- Empty sled is exchanged with empty sled.
- Broken ski/ski pole is exchanged with whole ski/ski pole.
- NB! You can not change the type of skiis, i.e. you can not change a regular ski to a skate ski or the other way around.
All exchanges have to be approved by race judge, race marshalls or person in charge at the checkpoint before the exchange is made.
